Regional Survey Manager - Charlotte, NC
Piper-Morgan Associates has been engaged to fill this key position in our client’s office in Charlotte, NC. Our client is a well-established land services company that operates in all areas of the country where energy projects are planned.

The Regional Survey Manager will plan and execute all aspects of survey operations, including management staff surveyors, technicians and field operations. The scope includes support of the business development team and coordination with senior management for company operations and strategic planning for the Region.

Scope includes:
• Plan, organize, execute, and supervise all surveying services
• Implement company processes and procedures
• Review performance data to monitor and measure productivity and project schedules
• Assist in the execution plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the market area
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships
• Represent company at professional events and organizations
Candidate profile:
• PLS credentials in NC required, PLS in FL and GA a plus
• At least 10 years’ experience as a Surveyor of which at least 3 years as PLS
• Energy and Transportation industry experience preferred
• Several years of leadership experience
• Skilled in project management and project coordination
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Primary focus is the upstream and midstream energy industry where midstream projects are in the planning and execution stages
• Customer focused, solution oriented, large geographical scope of operations, agile to adapt quickly to local needs, strong employee centric and professional culture, champions employees as their best assets providing them with excellent resources, a high level of leadership support and engagement
• Executive team members have all grown up in the business working field positions, remaining hands-on and possess deep understanding of the challenges
